Re the AJN article, I agree that it is a very good
article. But there was one thing that really stuck
out to me. They were talking about exclusive
breastfeeding and defined that as nothing other than
breastmilk and water. Since when is water necessary
or even advisable in the first 6 months for a
breastfed baby? Seems somewhat dangerous to let that
little tidbit be accepted as gospel by other nurses.
Other than that I was very impressed.
