Mary Kay, I am not sure why you wrote this in your note about breast
augmentation and breastfeeding.
What is an important part of seeking information during your assessment is
why they had breast augmentation surgery. There are women who have this
surgery because of a significant size discrepancy between their breasts. This is
an important piece of information to know.
I always ask a mother if she has had any breast surgery as part of my
assessment then if they say yes this allows you to find out more about the surgery
purely on a clinical level.
