Dear friends,
Now I've come to think of it: from my sample of 5: the one with the least interest in breastfeeding and a thumbsucker up in his Kindergarten years and beyond, is the only one that had troubles pronouncing specific words or sounds, and still has, sometimes, at age 19. He never ever managed to open really wide (I'm a good suppplier and had very un-sensitive nipples, so it didn't matter that much), even later when eating from spoon and fork he already closed when it was only half way in. He doesn't have a small mouth nor tongue anomalies.
Warmly greeting,
Gonneke
