think that an accurate description of my comments would be "kidding." It was a
bit of satire that backfired. I didn't know that realistically we could
donate our credentials and I can't imagine it being all too smart to donate my
credentials in a public forum of 2000 of my peers.
I absolutely agree with you that "to maintain silence is to appear to endorse
or accept." It is the reason I am not silent on the patenting of human milk
components and our new tenet on respecting intellectual property rights. I
strongly believe in vigorous debate. How can we get to the truth, if we are
silent? Intellectually, if we hold back on our questions, where will be? Living
in half-truths? Distortions? I find it remarkable that we seem to be living
in times when to question is considered offensive.
