Hi,

I have read your messages since several months even if I don't answer; it
is a really good list of discussion, very important for all of us. I rarely
can read all messages each day, more likely once a week; it is one of my
press reviews...

Well, I am president of an association dedicated to breastfeeding twins and
more, set in France, and working in France and french-speaking countries;

:-))

I also have a role in a french program which aims at preventing overweight
of children; (but "we" still want fat babies....)

I am collecting as many international medical studies as possible, linking
breastfeeding and low risk of overweight, and linking non-breastfeeding and
higher risk of overweight and all others if there are in fact; BUT I am also
seeking medically recognized curves about the weight of breastfed children
compared or not, with the children nourished with formulas;¶ what is also
interesting in the international aspect, it is that we have metabolisms
different from one country to another, from one area to another;¶I remember
a mother (a french mother living in California, the father was french too),
and the doctor was arguing about the weight of the baby (too low), but
compared to french curves, the baby was okay.....)

Well anyway, if you could help me collecting studies and curves (or internet
links and reference) it would be really great;
And if you had some questions about: how to breastfeed twins, triplets...
you know now, you have from now on an additional resource;¶

Friendly,

Françoise Coudray
