The hospital where I work has rooming-in in our NICU. We have six NICU
suites, with a private room for the baby and an adjoining room for the
parents. The parents room has a queen sized bed, bath and small fridge,
as well as TV, DVD, etc and internet access. We feed mom as well.
Parents have free use of the room the entire time their baby is a
patient. We also have 4 "swing rooms" that can be used for less
critical babies, and it is just one room with a single bed. It is
called a swing room because it can be used for a well mom/baby couplet
too.
The hospital is Boulder Community Foothills Hospital in Boulder
Colorado.
Feel free to email me for more info.
