Dee Kassing writes of a mother whose first language is not English, who
has a 6 month old and is having a problem with delayed MER. Pregnancy
test planned soon.
I have had feedback from a knowledgeable mother in a very stressful
situation that she found RPS solved her problem. Due to the language
barrier, it might work to suggest that this mother cut off all but 1/4
inch of a silicone or rubber nipple, place the silicone collar around her
nipple and use 3 fingers of each hand on the rubber collar to do RPS as
firmly toward her ribs as is comfortable, for a full 2-3 minutes by the
clock.
If this works for her, I would love to hear about it. Or if not, I'd like
to hear about it too.
