Hi all,
Many of you know the story of Bobby, the son of Lactnetter Trish Whitehouse
who through his mother's pioneering effort to provide skimmed breast milk
for him recovered from a chylothorax resulting from an accident during
surgery when he was a newborn. Well, Bobby has just had a long-awaited
heart surgery today (Thursday) in New Haven, Connecticut, and while the
operation went very well, he is entering a critical period of several more
days. It was at just such a juncture that his original chylothorax
appeared.
I know there are others besides me on Lactnet who have been thinking of,
and/or praying for Bobby today, and I decided it couldn't hurt for all of
Lactnet to send him and his family some good energy for the coming days.
That way we can also keep the effort up throughout each 24 hour period,
because someone is ALWAYS awake on this list.
If you have a message for Trish, you can send it to me off the list and I'll
forward it to the person who is sending out the Bobby bulletins, so Trish
will get it.
Cheers
Rachel Myr
