I've had 3 moms try this pump so far, and the reviews have been mixed.
Everyone thought it was noisy, one was self-conscious using it. She
thought it was very comfortable, and is very upset that she's already
purchased a Pump in Style Advance, though it takes a little longer to
get as much milk with the Playtex Embrace. Another found it comfortable
but noisy. The third said it was more comfortable on her nipples, but
more painful on her areolas than the Symphony with 30mm flanges is, and
found it slower as well (expressed less milk per unit time). She was
willing to take it home for the week, though.
Looks similar to the first iteration of the Whittlestone so far. Comfy,
but significantly slower than the Ameda and Medela personal grade double
pumps. That might not be a problem for the casual user, but could be
hard on employed moms with short breaks, in my opinion.
Has anyone tried the new Whittlestone Unipulse yet?
