I appreciate any help you can provide:
I am seeking IBCLC certification (2006), taking the BSC Distance LC
course. I do not hold an RN or any other professional certification, but
I've worked as a lactation educator for an IBCLC. As you know, the road
leading to certification requires obtaining cinical hours. I'm curious, do
I need to have any sort of state certification to do so? And I've heard
that even as a student, professional liability insurance is beneficial.
Can you tell me if this is true, and if so, where on Earth to get a
policy? A simple search of "professional liability lactation" on the
internet yielded next to nothing!
Thank you so much!!!
