Seeking help for a mother who delivered a 31 week baby 17 days ago.
Problem: She has had a benign cyst, that is about 4mm, adjacent to her
nipple. Has had this benign cyst for 8 years, and in fact, quit nursing
her last child 4 yrs ago after 3 months because of the pain.
This time, she is pumping for her 17 day old infant born at 31 weeks
gestation. Sometimes when she pumps, the cyst "comes out", She further
explains this to mean the cyst comes behind the areola and sits there
blocking the milk pores from draining the milk.
She isn't interested in having the cyst removed.
I am asking for ideas, insights, help.

Thank You All.
