Hi all, a thank you for your replies - very helpful. I received some
private e-mails and they were consistent with all of you.
One question I failed to include was if your infection control people
became involved in how you clean, prepare the spoons. In my institution, we
use the plastic spoons from the kitchen, wash with dish detertent and rinse
until squeaky clean.
