Hi Kathryne,

I wanted to shed some light on the question as to what we do in
California regarding donor milk and being low income. The milk bank at
Valley Medical Center in San Jose (408)998-4550 does accept Medicaid
(known as MediCal in our state) and I have been told that no one has
been denied donor milk due to financial reasons. So give Pauline or
Becky a call and see what they can do! Make sure the Pedi writes or
faxes in an Rx. I know the Milk Bank at this time has more donors than
recipients.
Good Luck!!
