Many babies do just spit up a lot. One theory I was told was that the valve
at the top of the stomach just doesn't work very effectively yet, so some of
the milk just comes right back up. As long as the baby isn't uncomfortable
or in pain and continues to gain weight, it is not a problem or anything to
be concerned about.

My eldest was one of these. I carried a towel around with me all the time
because every time I fed him he would "give me some back." (and a receiving
blanket wasn't nearly absorbent enough to deal with it). When he was about
nine months old, it stopped.
