Does anyone have a handout that they give to moms in the hospital
who have chosen to formula feed? I would love to have something to give out
that helps mothers to make an informed decision. Many of the mothers that
deliver here are young and have had little to no prenatal information on
breastfeeding. I would like it to include some information on the risks of
not breastfeeding, as well as breast care. It cannot be seen as "too pushy"
(although most days I would like to whack some of these moms over the head
with a big stick to make them see the light!) as I have to be able to get it
approved to use as a handout. Does anyone have suggestions or already have
a handout they would be willing to share so that I don't have to start from
scratch?
Thanks,
