When I became a certified lactation consultant my husband got me a license
plate that says, "mommilk1." I have had this plate for 10 years. Here is my
dilemma. My daughter is fifteen and in high school. Her friends come over and see
breastfeeding stuff in my office. She can keep the kids out of my office but
now they are making fun of our license plate. Her biggest embarrassment or
frustration is that she will be driving within the year and wants to know why this
has to be on the car.
My twelve year old son thinks my job is cool and my four year old has no
great opinion. The little guy thinks the babies that come over are cute. He does
not come with on home visits.
Ideas?
