Still quite embarrassed about my faux pas. That, and an apology burned 2 of my
allowed three daily posts! Thanks to my colleagues and friends who replied
privately for their heartfelt understanding. At least I didn't say anything
really awful! And it's the truth, as my fellow Michigan LCs can confirm. It is
darned hard to find a LC job up here. And that is particularly hard to take
especially after working in the fertile ground of the Chicago area - where a
good LC is highly appreciated.
Today's inquiry is to those of you who use a cart, kiosk or other means of
selling and promoting breastfeeding products on a postpartum floor. How did you
"sell" the idea to Administration? Any tips or ideas on promoting this idea
to patients and staff? What worked well? What didn't? Care to share any
proposals? Products just for mom and baby? Other family members? Little gifty
items?
Please post privately or to the list.
