Hello Jenny,
I just finished writing an article on thyroid problems in
breastfeeding mothers. Symptoms of hyperthyroid conditions are:
. goiter (an enlarged thyroid gland)
. fatigue
. nervousness
. irritability
. feeling hot
. rapid heartbeat
. inability to concentrate
. trembling hands
. muscle weakness
. weight loss
. increased perspiration
. difficulty sleeping
. increased bowel movements
. fine, brittle hair
Another thought...How old is this mother? Perhaps these are hot
flashed related to peri-menopause.
>A mom whose 16-month old recently self-weaned has contacted me,
complaining that ever since >he weaned, mom has been sweating really badly.
