yes you can....but very very very little is currently known about d.
the one thing that is known is that we were never meant to get d from
food. it may be that maternal D intake of D would have to be 'too'
high, to get sufficient levels for D in milk.
no one knows how much D would be needed, if it's consistent from person
to person (probably isn't) and regardless, it would require taking
amounts of D that would require quarterly testing (imo) for both parties
to insure D levels were optimal - neither too high nor too low.
but yes, D levels in milk do change with maternal intake and maternal
sun exposure. the references are out there. i probably have them here
at my desk....no time to look them up right now though. if I come across
them, I will post.
there's just not much out there on this specific part of D knowledge.
