Formula mfrs PR masquerading as journalism?
http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/LondonFreePress/Today/2004/08/11/577096.html
Received a Google news alert on this piece, in the London [Canada] Free
Press. The author is listed as "Special to the Free Press." It looks to be
a PR piece distributed by formula manufacturers. There is no email address
given for feedback, although there are phone numbers and mailing addresses
in the Contacts section.
I won't bother to quote it. We've all read the formula PR bits before, and
this is no different. The only surprising sentences regard soy formula; I
suspect someone at the Free Press is aware of the soy formula protest and
put that in.
