For the record, I am firmly in support of having a fee survey and
appreciate Diane taking the time to get it done right very much.

Nearly all professions gather this type of information, one way or another,
not to gouge the public, but to provide valuable data for employeers and
other providers.

Do you really think that hospitals don't do surveys to see what other
hospitals in the area are paying?  How do you think they can compete for
nurses without this information?
