Perhaps the hospital could use the same protocol that family members
and friends use for BLOOD donation when someone is in need of blood?
Screen the donor, insure good collection technique, screen the sample.
Blood can't be pasteurized, yet it is still preferable to artificial
blood.
The hospital could call a milk bank and ask about their screening
procedures, tests, questions in order to have proper documentation.
