Dear Friends:
I read in my favorite journal, MIDIRS Midwifery Digest, of a program in
the UK, whereby juvenile deliquents were fed a balanced diet, and had their
behaviors change favorably.
Nina Simontacchi writes of this in her book as well.
When the brain is deprived of vital nutrients, it doesn't work well.
Think of yourself when you are hungry? Can you think clearly? Be sweet and
amiable? Now imagine this going on at a cellular level during growth and
maturation.
You can see this in the grocery store, where toddlers are loosing
control. If the mom would just give the toddler something to eat, a lot of tantrums
would be avoided.
