First of all, I want to thank all of you have responded to my questions in
the recent past. Your replies have been helpful.
I need your help again. I was called by a reservist who has to complete
weapons qualifications on Friday, November 5, 2004. The bullets are coated
with copper. Her baby is 4 months old. I have searched the archives and
obtained information but nothing definitive. I have e-mailed the CDC to see
if I can get specific recommendations and will call them tomorrow if need
be. What would you tell her about the safety of breastfeeding after weapons
training and what are your resources? She will not have to handle a gun
again for another 6 months. Thank you all so much for you input.
Christine Raasch
