this is one of those times that i'd probably encourage the baby over the
pump if baby is willing to suck nutritively and non-nutritively at the
breast......
for some moms, focusing on pumping output can be discouraging whereas
putting the baby to the breast, then supplementing at the breast, is
just easier and very effective, then putting the baby to the breast
whenever baby wants to nurse again.......
getting optimal, deep, asymmetric latch is important....teaching breast
compression....super switching etc. knowing when to offer the
supplement, etc etc.
