Brief update:

Seems they have been convinced to bring the baby back to the law (so only
had him a few days). The mom has been trying to follow the baby around the
various agencies with bottles of breastmilk  -- some he gets. With all your
help the family has several legal counsel options now and hopes to secure
someone tomorrow.

Below is an excerpt from a friend of the family:

"Alexandra is allowed to visit him currently, as he is shuttled between
agencies, while they (supposedly) expedite my paperwork [to foster the
child in her home], but I am still concerned about the weaning, and hope
the foster care service will grant her more frequent visits."
