Probably these pins and slides would be most helpful to bottle feeding
moms--after all, most breastfeeding moms will use both sides every day, but
bottle feeding moms might forget.  We don't want to stunt formula fed
babies' development further by only feeding them on one side.

Maybe it's one of the "rules" we can add to formula feeding.
