Warning: I have had a really bad day.
What about having them sign an AMA form? I guess it seems drastic,
maybe harsh, but quite frankly, I don't know how many times I have been
presented with the yellow "Informed Consent" form while in the hospital
for my child's care that I would consider specious at best. In fact, I
notice that my local children's hospital paints a lovely picture of the
services they will "offer/provide" when they want me to do a procedure,
test, etc, but when I want something done, I get a long list of the
RISKS of doing said test. Maybe parents would start seeing that
breastfeeding was really important if medical professionals had them
sign a waiver when they stopped.
