Dear Friends:
I worked with a woman that had a postpartum hemorrhage at 5 days. She
received two units of blood. Her milk supply disappeared. With pumping, an SNS,
and support, her supply took 3 weeks to return in full.
Lawrence says one can never predict what will happen to supply after
hemorrhage. Several healthcare professionals had told this woman to quit
breastfeeding....
