I would say that her breastmilk is probably as good as any other breastmilk,
that is to say, it is wonderful food for her baby. I suspect her baby lost
weight from other bf issues, not from any problem in her milk. I would
refer her to Diane Wiessinger's piece... At her marvelous site, there is an
article about "He can't be hungry again."
I don't think that this mother needs specialized testing, etc. She needs
solid breastfeeding help, and encouragement.

It's a great and inspiring article. Even mothers who are in near starvation
situations make great breastmilk, and their children grow and thrive.
