Yes, and here is the problem. This is the same stuff in Lipil formula,
which causes nasty diarrhea in a lot of babies. This is a great
supplement. I take it, and I give it to my kids, but we use the Real
Thing: cod liver oil. You can also get it purified out of the fish oil
into caps of DHA/EPA. The Martek version is from algae or fungus or
something, NOT the real food source, so I guess we shouldn't be
surprised that it causes trouble.
I am in the midwestern USA, and I can get a 12oz bottle of cod liver
oil, 36 doses, for $5.
