Kerrie,
I am a State WIC Breastfeeding Program Coordinator. I am an IBCLC, but not
an RN nor an RD. This may simply be a bias of those hiring, or it may be a
requirement set by your state personnel board....
Just thought it might help if you knew this is not a WIC thing....

Does anyone have any insight as to how we can push this through? The
director really wants me but is having difficulty getting WIC at the state
level to say OK. I am extremely dissapointed that WIC of all places does
not recognize the value of an IBCLC. If anyone has any insight or can
offer any suggestions, please email me privately or if you think other
would find it of interest, you can post to the list. Thanks in advance
and thanks for listening!
