Janet,
7 days just plain doesn't cut it. It takes 2-3 *weeks* to completely
get rid of dairy in some circumstances. If mom thinks it's what she's
eating (and that is reasonable from what you wrote), trust her judgment
and encourage her to try eliminating again, to get a valid answer. She
can find lots of yummy treats at allergygrocer.com to get her through
this. If she's up to it, dropping down to four foods would be even more
revealing.
