> I wonder how much infant formula would be sold if it all came in glass
> bottles with black and white labels that said simply "Plant or Animal
> Milk for
> Babies."
And listed the REAL ingredients in the "plant or animal milk"
What if it had a warning label like the one provided by the surgeon
general on cigarettes and alcohol?
GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) ACCORDING TO THE SURGEON GENERAL, HUMAN BABIES
SHOULD NOT DRINK PLANT OR ANIMAL MILK BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF HEALTH
PROBLEMS (2) CONSUMPTION OF PLANT OR ANIMAL MILK IMPAIRS A BABY'S
ABILITY TO FUNCTION ITS BODY AND OPERATE ITS ORGANS, AND MAY CAUSE
HEALTH PROBLEMS.
But then, I would have them sign an informed consent form before giving
their babies formula too.
