Subject: LACTNET Digest - 11 Sep 2004 (#2004-1146)
I'll never forget the breastfeeding conference (must have been in the
early '80s) where Kittie Frantz began her talk to a thousand people by
shaking her breasts one at a time. Her first words were "This is the
nursing mother's salute!" It got a big laugh and was a great ice-breaker.
Whenever a mother asks me how to tell which breast to use, I demonstrate
this for her. No muss, no fuss.
