Maybe it isn't yeast? Has this poor mother seen a breastfeeding friendly
dermatologist?
Dr. Nancy Powers published a lovely article in the ABM newsletter about
burning pain not being yeast, and cited a case where a mother had multiple
bacterial infections of her nipple skin.
