If I remember correctly, when this concern was first voiced, it was based on
a study of how much was transferred either directly in mom's milk or in her
bloodstream. Anyway, in the report, a decimal point was accidentally moved
one space making the figure 10X what it was supposed to be! Even though it
was later corrected, too many people were making decisions based on the
first report.
Just goes to show you not only have to keep up on current information, but
be sure you watch for any later corrections of the original reports.
