Kate Suttles posts to remind Amy K. and everyone else of how much it means
to be properly supported when you need it. On behalf of the listmothers I
will emphasize that this kind of post, while personal, is absolutely to the
point and relevant to the thread being discussed. (It also made me cry.)
Not only that, it serves as a reminder of how so many of us ended up in this
field - gratitude for the good help we got when we needed it most, or
determination that no other mother would have to struggle alone and possibly
wean before she intended, because the help just wasn't there. Thanks for
sharing your story, Kate, and best of luck on your career path. I hope you
continue to find LN helpful in that respect, and that you will continue to
post when the spirit moves you.
