I was distressed and intrigued to hear your comment:
"I strongly feel that "suck training" is beyond my scope of practice as a
nurse and is certainly beyond the scope of a lay practitioner. For those of
you who are intrigued by this line of thought, please attend some of the
oral-motor workshops that are out there".
The reason that I am distressed is that I only recently began trying finger
feeds and its so easy! I guess I should have known that it was too good to
be true. Anyway, could you please tell all of us where exactly we might
find out about oral-motor workshops, I don't think I have ever seen one
announced.
