They were offering the breast about every 2-3 hours, since according to
mom the baby never did show clear hunger cues, but were not following a
restrictive schedule. When I first arrived for the consult, the baby
had not eaten in 15 hours, and she was perfectly happy and content.
Mom has tried walking around, and so far, no go. That trick usually
works too!
Frustrating, isn't it?
