One of my boys matched the stories you have already read here.

He was 8# 13oz, 20", at birth, 26# at 6 mos, and is now 33y.o. and still
wears a L.shirt or 16 1/2 collar (US sizing) and just grew into a 32" belt.
It did take him a little longer during grade school to work off the baby
fat, but puberty and physical activity took care of the rest.

My speculation: super headache from forceps delivery & wanting comfort at
breast, super milk supply, OAMER and a baby who took it, no pacifiers, no
thumb sucking. He would drink to overfilling, burp (GET THE TOWEL!!!), then
do it again (hindmink now?) until he fell asleep.

Same kind of milk supply with next baby, but he was a professional thumb
sucker...even in the delivery room! He nursed until satiety, let go &
sucked his thumb. By comparison to his brother, he was slimmer and more
'wiry' even though he was 9# 3oz, 21", at birth. I think he was 16# to 18#
at 6 mos. He is now 30y.o. and matches his brother in clothing sizes and
physical activity.
