Just off the top of my head, I'd say don't treat baby if asymptomatic. The
tinea seems a bit different in that it doesn't affect mucus membranes as
candida does. Also I'm of the opinion that even w/ candida both don't have
to be treated unless s/s. Tinea sometimes requires systemic antifungals if
topicals don't work and sometimes the p.o. med has to be taken for months.
Hopefully baby won't get it.
