I have some experience with Lamictal as my information, given to a nurse
and relayed on to a mom, about it was the "final straw" that caused me
to lose my job. The word I had from Dr. Jay Gordon was that it was
"safe" for breastfeeding, inasmuch as L3 meds are ok for most babies
most of the time, or at least better than formula if their mothers must
be on the med. L3 does mean "moderately safe" after all. Sometimes
it's hard to convince doctors of that, given the worn advice to put the
baby on formula if in doubt!
