There are many considerations regarding this mom, the first one being, does
she have pain ONLY during sex? If the answer is yes, then she might have
Vaginismus...there is a ton of info. on the net with self help suggestions.
This is fairly common. If she has pain all the time she may have vulvadynia
and this warrants further attention.
If she chooses using estrogen I suggest NOT using Premarin Cream, since it
is linked to some very serious side effects..but there are some natural
"estriol" estrogen creams available that are quite effective too.
Of course, using more lubrication is helpful, however, read the label on
KY...YIKES!!! Olive oil is very nice and has no chemicals in it and actually
has some anti-fungal properties. Good Luck!
