I start my class out with  the short video on "First Attachment".  I will
then remind the parents that their baby will be affected by the experiece
they were exposed to.  For example....When we have a headache do we feel
relaxed, tense, ready to party?  Prolonged pushing and use of forceps and or
vacume often affect their babies state of readiness and effectiveness.  I
like to remind them that baby is just a smaller version of themselves.  They
seem pretty shocked....assuming that these little people naturally "want" to
eat and "should" know how to.
