Nikki,
Not much I can say except you vented in the right place. Very sad situation
indeed. Even if they take the three suggestions you were able to give them,
they will have the chance to make a huge improvement in the lives and well-being
of those children. Trusting a healthy baby or child to self-regulate intake (
of anything), especially while being loving attended to, is a very worthy
goal. Heaven knows that mother's milk is totally wasted in the trash, liquid gold
down the drain, so sad...
