Reading through the posts today I am struck by how far we have come
yet how far we have to go when it comes to re-educating the masses
on breastfeeding.

My prayers go out to the VEGAN family - (I know few lawyers and none
in NY )- that their child be returned to them safely and soon.

My little cause to get the "Flippers, Flukes and Fun" exhibit changed at
the Monterey Bay Aquarium seems so minor in the larger scope of
things, yet it is used to "educate" wee little ones. (It uses an
enourmous -larger than an adult human - baby bottle to explain
quantity intake of sea mammals compared to human mammals.) It is
counter to the mission of the Aquarium as well as counter intuitive.
Please see my first post from the 5th and send your ideas for change
and plan to come to the nurse-in in October. Please check out their
website too and read their committment to the environment and
ecosystems. THANKS!
