Oh wise mothers, forgive me...I just read the post of a lurker who had
introduced herself and bells rang in my fussy sleep-deprived brain that I
should have done that a few weeks ago when I began enjoying Lactnet! I have
been IBCLCed since 2000 and left work as a pediatric nurse practitioner to
teach and return to school. I'll finish at Emory when I complete my
dissertation (I'm in the recruitment phase)on "Women's Experience of Not
Breastfeeding". I'm interested in knowing more about when and why that
happens...thanks for all the very helpful posts and wonderful references.

Maeve (also in atl :) and mother to Caitlin, now 16 years and breastfed for
16 months through 2 mastitis rounds and breast shields, and Nolan who is 14
years and breastfed for 18 months!
