Barb, I am so glad to hear you had a good experience because I had a
terrible one with the same company. I recognize what you wrote as what they
told us, and the testing with vacuum gauges. It was advertised as being
research oriented but was really a thinly disguised advertising session.
(And this is twice now I have been to something which was billed as research
oriented but turned out to be advertising oriented, using the company's
products.)
They beat their competition to death at the one I went to and I was totally
disgusted. They used old, dirty and beat up pumps from every one of the
competition pumps (electric and manual) and brand new clean ones from their
own company. They did show us some research but the majority of the time was
spent trying to sell us on their products. They made up something called
"dead air space" which supposedly made the competition a terrible pump. But
I could not get them to really explain this concept and how they researched
it, and I know moms love these other pumps.
I say show us your products and tell us why they work well, but leave off
lying about your competition. If your product is superior, it will speak for
itself. And if your presentation is really an advertisement for your
products then please tell us in advance, don't sneak it under the table.
SHAME! SHAME!
I have no financial interest in any product either. This is just my
observation also.
