Good on you Kate you are a hero and if you were my sister and you offered me
milk I would knock you over with the hug!
The way I have approached breastfeeding with close rellies is to give them
something...usually a membership to the Australian BF Assoc and a bf class.
The already know what I think about breastfeeding but going to a class gives
someone else the job of giving them the info that they might not accept from
me. And it's worked. All SILs I've done this with have breastfed their
children for years (one is now an ABA counsellor).

There is a stack on info on the net and adoptive breastfeeding support
groups she can link up with if she wants so passing on these details may be
helpful. As to what you might give her...the new ABA booklet on Relactation
and Adoptive Breastfeeding contains lots of info and stories from mums who
have adopted from China. The booklet along with a note of your offer and
list of resources might do the job.
